I've checked settings and it's not set at open on login. I tried putting the application in the bin and then emptying it, but it doesn't help. I really hope someone replies with an answer, i'm getting tired of constantly having to force quit Spotify. Anyway, that's about all I have to ask.

Is it in your Login items in System Preferences - Users & Groups - Select your user account - Login items?
