preinstalled apps will not delete off of my Mac version 12.1

When I try to delete the preinstalled apps on the Mac they will not delete. The X does not appear and when moved to the trash they bounce back. Is there a trick that I am missing?

immigrated adobe creative cloud apps when setting up iMac M1 desktop - Now cannot uninstall, install, or update illustrator, photoshop, or dreamweaver I immigrated apps when setting up new iMac M1 24" desktop. Now I am unable to update, uninstall, or install any apps from Adobe Creative Cloud - Photoshop, Illustrator, and Dreamweaver. Do I need to wipe iMac clean and start set up again? Will this fix the problem?

They're protected by the system and not deletable.
