Wired EarPods headphone not working

Hello, My Apple EarPods stopped working when plugged into my laptop. Purchased a new pair and they don't work either. Plz help. tia

We see that you're having an issue when trying to use wired headphones with your Mac. We'd be happy to help.


If you restart you Mac, does the issue remain? Also, have you tried to test the headphones with another device? If the issue does not persist when using another device with the headphones, let's try to reset the NVRAM to help with further isolating this issue.


Reset NVRAM or PRAM on your Mac


If the issue persists on other devices, then you'd want to reach out to Apple Support for further assistance with the headphones.
