I received a message regarding my mac needing an update of Monterey. I did that, but machine does not recognize Monterey and I still have the message to install Monterey

Is the User Profile accurate and true iMac 21.5″, macOS 10.13 since this indicates the computer is running High Sierra macOS 10.13

To receive a Notification of needing an update to Monterey macOS 12 would contradict the User Profile.

That would mean the computer is already running Monterey macOS 12.0.1.

There was an update to Monterey on Dec 13, 2021 to version 12.1
