Daily restart Apple TV

What happens if you don’t restart?

I don’t have to restart mine. I just wake it with the Siri Remote – the Menu button will do that (not the touch pad).

What happens if you disconnect the Apple TV from it's power source for 2-3 minutes and then re-plug in and re-test?
