Cannot open App store

Click on App Store icon, get a blank screen. Will not open.

Start with a Restart.

Restart your Mac, seeing if that fixes the issue. There may be something stuck in the background.


Can't Restart? If so, Force Quit App Store:

Exit the download, then forfeit what is giving you the issue.


First, exit the app: [command+tab] Use it to Access your Mac when Something is Not Responding - User Tip

Then, se Force Quit...

  1. Go to: Apple menu
  2. Select: Froce Quit...
  3. Select: the downloading apple
  4. Click: the Force Quit... button
  5. Click: the Force Quit... Button.
  6. Restart your Mac
