Speak Screen accessibility setting- ios15.2.1

Speak screen (settings->accessibility->spoken content->speak screen) is the only way I’m able to enjoy my books in a variety of situations. I’ve just updated from ios14 and now speak screen only reads the current page and stops. In previous iterations it would turn the page and continue reading, at least while using iBooks. It seems that’s over as every page is treated individually now. I’ve literally never been more upset by an update as I use this feature daily and have hundreds of books purchased specifically due to the ease of use from this feature in the past. As for a question I guess mine would be: “when will this be fixed?” because I’m strongly considering switching phones now for good. Seriously, many vision impaired people use this feature and it’s been ruined.
