personally i have the same model and would not throw money at such an old model, the cpu and memory speed and "video card" would still be pretty slow

I already have two its portable hds were i keep photos app and all my movies vids etc ad backups The new hardware items that can be fitted are not to expensive really amazon offer 16gb ram kit is around $100, to swap hd for a internal ssd about $60 and a new second hd $65 plus me cables postage and tax as i am in thailand . What i really need though is some advice if they are the correct ones and compatible I'm 72 yrs old not a gamer use photos iTunes spotify netflix and several crypto apps and liveness,plus keep personal . I look at later models and they started at around $750 . But thanks for your comments
