My charging cable won't go into the Iphone 8 socket. It just started after a few years of use. Anyone know why or how to fix?
Look into the charging port on the phone; do you see any lint or other foreign debris in the port?
Otherwise, either the connector on the cable or the one on the phone may have become damaged or dirty.

Do you have any others? If the socket is loose, Apple doesn't have any specific way to fix or replace it other than replacing the entire device for an out of warranty price.
