iTunes on PC will not recognize iPhone 11 Pro Max

iTunes does not recognize my iPhone 11 ProMax, even though it used to up until a few months ago.

Yes, I've read the "fix" article, tried every solution, and nothing works.

Yes, I have the latest version of iTunes (12.12.2.2) , iOS (15.2.1), Windows 10 Pro (21H2).

No, I don't want to sign up for Apple Music. I have thousands of music files, plus videos and photos on my computer that I cannot backup or sync now.

I can't be the only iTunes user that cannot sync or backup my music library to my PC. Can anyone help??

These instructions from 2016 are for Windows 7. Is there an update for Windows 10 users? I have:

iTunes version 12.12.2.

iPhone iOS version 15.2.1

Windows 10 Pro version 21H2

The steps should be similar in Windows 10 provided you've used an iTunes64Setup.exe installer rather than getting iTunes through the Microsoft Store.
