Safari passwords not migrating to new computer

I have a MacBook Pro running High Sierra 10.13.6 when I used the migration assistant to transfer my data to my new M1 MacBook Pro running Monterey the passwords that are saved in Safari did not transfer over. How do I get the passwords from my old machine onto the new one??

Hello ljfriedman,

It sounds like after using Migration Assistant, you cannot find your Safari passwords on your new Mac.

Here's an article that might help. Were you using iCloud Keychain? If so, review Set up iCloud Keychain.

Also check out How to find saved passwords on your Mac for more information on where to locate stored passwords. This could help if you need to manually transfer them.

You can also Contact Apple Support or use this Get Support link for assistance.

Hope this information helps.

Have a good day.
