previously imported phots from SD card

How do I move these to trash? I can highlight them bunch them in a group , move them to trash - but how do I leave them there/

Have you imported the photos the the Photos app and did you choose not to delete them as part of the import? This would therefore mean that the photos were left on the card.


If you move a file on a mounted eternal disc to the bin/trash you have to empty the bin before you eject the disc or it remains on the disc.


You also have a few other options for deleting the photos:

You can delete them by putting the card in a camera and deleting them manually.

You could reformat the card on the Mac using Disk Utility (Fat 32 format).

You could mount the disc on your Mac and use Image Capture to delete all the images.
