CAPS LOCK ALWAYS ON (FAINTLY) & TYPES RANDOM LETTERS (MBP M1 2020)

My caps lock key is always faintly on and when really 'on' and I press [spacebar] it types HNY6 ], when [fn], BGT5\, when [tab], SWX2, and when [~], AQZ1.

I already talked to apple support about the issue, tried erasing all the data (reset), and reinstalling the macOS. They ultimately told me to bring it to an Apple authorized service center, but the nearest center from our place is 7 hours by land and I use my laptop for online classes. Has anyone had the same problem? how long did it take for the service center to fix it? Also, I just bought it last October 2021 and it's still covered by the Apple limited 1 year warranty, will I still pay something just in case?
