I’m using iPhone XS Max with Bluetooth 5.0, can I use a bluetooth earbuds with Bluetooth 5.1 or 5.2 with all its function ?

No functionality will be lost if you pair a Bluetooth accessory with 5.1 or 5.2 with iPhone XS Max.

You may --> Pair a third-party Bluetooth accessory with your iPhone, iPad ...
