My M1 Mac's Camera quality is awful. It has a grainy texture and very blurry! And when i got to the Service centre, they told me that it is as such in all M1 macs.
Is it really like that in all new MacBooks?
The camera resolution of the MacBook Air is only 720p which is poor to today's standard with is 1080p pr better.
The camera on the current MacBook Pros is1080p which is OK.
The 720p camera is not good, and as you said, it is worse than the camera in the earlier MacBooks. That deficiency was noted in the reviews of the Macs. .
Yu have 14 days to return with o questions asked but it appears that 14 day period has passed.
Unfortunately, I was not aware of that 14days policy.
Also I think the webcam quality is not bad in all M1 Macs as my friend has one too and its good on that.
Btw i am constantly facing issues with this mac (since when i bought this in Nov) like my esc key and siri refused to work suddenly after every 2-3 days of restart and then it required another restart to get back to work. I have gone 2 times to service centre for all these issues... Now, they have installed Big Sur on this saying that esc and siri issue was due to some bug in monterey. For now its working fine but i still have webcam issue & they did nothing for it. :(
Also if you know, issue regarding siri and esc key is solved by any updates in monterey or not?
But i think its not even 720p on my M1. I compared it to Macbook 2017, and found that webcam is better in 2017 mac than my M1 mac...
