Image persistence on recently bought iPhone 13

Is image persistence normal amongst recently bought iPhone 13s? I bought an iPhone 13 about 2 weeks ago and I noticed that after going few minutes on TikTok or Instagram dark mode, then switch to a full gray image immediately, a faded reminiscence of the icons from the app and the home bar remain for just under a minute then disappears.

I know image persistence is a normal characteristic of OLED but is this normal for a brand new phone? I thought they happen over a year in use.

Is this a sign of a defective screen?

I set my phone to auto brightness but in that photo it was around 50%. I attached the colour I used to check for image retention and I also attached a example image with high contrast to test.

You can test it by looking at the high contrast image for a minute or so and then immediately swipe to that colour. When i did this the apple logo was faded for a few seconds but disappeared. Would like to see if anyone else has this.

I made an appointment early next week at the apple store and see what they think.
