Apple Maps Blue Home Icon

I accidentally deleted the blue home icon from Apple maps favourites. Now I can’t add it back.

My address is correctly updated in my contact card but when I add the same to favourites it gets added as a pin and when I change the label to My Home it does not work.

Apple Maps pins I’m attempting to rename a pin I have for a home location in Apple Maps on my iPhone. When I go into my favorite pins and click the i next to the pin I want to relabel, I type in the new name in the label section and click done and it reverts back to the original label (Home). It is not saving my custom label to my home pin. Any help would be appreciated.

Lost ability to label pin drops in maps after latest update? For my job I drive to locations in the middle of nowhere. I have always dropped a pin upon arrival and saved it in the map app. When I would add it to favorite it would let me name it (johns well, water basin shutoff, etc). That way I could go back and look for times I don’t remember a specific location. After the latest update it appears I can no longer label my pin drops. If I save a pin, it lets me add it to my favorites, however, there doesn’t seem to be a way to name the pin. Everything is saving as “marked location” and that absolutely does me no good having 20 pin drops (and counting) that just say marked location. There is a button that wants me to create a new contact but that is NOT what I’m trying to do as these are locations, not people. hope someone can help thanks!

Unable to delete a marked location in Maps Searching on this issue, I see others have the same problem. Some time ago I marked a location in maps. It shows up like this: I click on it and there are no options to remove it: My guess is that the location is marked as a favorite (there is a star on the icon) but Maps doesn't think it is favorited. Something is out of sync. I can add and remove it from favorites but the marked location remains and I still have no way of deleting it from maps. Any suggestions?

If the issue persists, can you provide a few more details? What do you see in place of the home icon? Which iPhone and iOS version do you currently have? Also, does this happen with the Work favorites as well?
