Why is my keyboard typing only certain letters when connected to my iPad Pro?

Could you please provide details? That's vital info in such a case. For example, if you are missing the letters 789uiojkl, that is well known to indicate you have mistakenly turned on Mouse Keys in your Accessibility preferences. Hitting option 5 times might turn it off. But if it is not those, the fix will be different....
