Hello there! I'm an owner of a MacBookAir6,2 and recently I've been getting macOS notifications telling me to upgrade to macOS Monterey.
What is happening?
Has the MacBookAir6,2 model been added to the list of supported devices?
MacBook Air 13″, macOS 11.6

MacBook Air (13-inch, Early 2014)
Model Identifier: MacBookAir6,2
Part Numbers: MD760xx/B, MD761xx/B

Thus does not support Monterey
Because of an error on Apple side. You are at least the third one here to report this (being offered Monterey when the hardware is not supported) in this forum.

MBA 6,2 is not specific enough to say if it is monterey compatible. it spans a couple model years. the only one that is compatible is the "Early 2015" model.
thanks. i misread what i seen in mactracker. the 2015 MBA is actually MBA7,1 it's only the Mid 2013, 13 inch and Early 2014, 13 inch that are MBA 6,2
