Child account won’t accept credit card

Setting up child account, won’t complete or the done button is still gray after filling out credit card info

Thanks for reaching out to the Apple Support Communities. We understand you're running into some issues when trying to set up an Apple ID for a child, and we'd be happy to get you pointed in the right direction.


To get started, do you already have Family Sharing set up using the steps listed in this link here: Set up Family Sharing - Apple Support


We ask because Family Sharing would need to be set up before creating an account for a child. After setting up Family sharing, or if you've already set up Family Sharing, follow the steps listed in this next resource: Create an Apple ID for your child - Apple Support
