Percentage Formula

Can anyone provide the formula in Numbers to add 80% to a figure please?

If the original figure is in cell B2 then you would enter this as the formula in cell C2 or wherever:


=B2*1.80


You can also use:


=B2*180%


You enter the multiplication operator as *. After you've entered the formula Numbers will display the * as a multiplication symbol resembling an x.
