I use the original SSD from my Late 2012 Mac Mini as an external drive.
Finder no longer lists it and I find that it has never been backed-up by Time Machine.
However, it shows up under Disk Utility and the music libraries on it are still accessed properly from Logic Pro X; so it's working.
How do I get to be recognised by Time Machine and Finder?

Just to clarify: the disk doesn't appear in the Finder window but does show on the desktop if I choose to display external drives there. I have now used Carbon Copy Cloner to backup the disk but would prefer Time machine to do it.
The drive may need to be erased and formatted using Disk Utilities to be used as a TM drive once again.
