Monitoring exercise during Netball

Hi all,

I play netball and rules of this sport stipulate we can’t wear things like watches. In order to monitor and log my exercise , I am currently taking my watch off my strap , starting ‘basketball’ a session and placing the watch in my sports bra ! Far from practical!! It also is really temperamental and often pauses which doesn’t clock any exercise.

I am thinking am I better not starting a log of Basketball? Would this clock my exercise ?

That being said, there really needs to be a better option. Does anyone else play any contact sports like me and have the same problem ?

The answer would be Apple releasing a chest strap and actually allowing ‘netball’ as an exercise selection , haha.

Has anyone any suggestions? Is buying a Bluetooth heart monitor /chest strap my only option? Any recommendations on one ? Many thanks !!
