Icon on desktop that is un-clickable and won't go away

Hello everyone. I have a MacBook Pro and an HP printer. Somehow, while clicking on my HP icon within my Applications folder, I made a duplicate HP icon on my desktop. The problem is, that this desktop icon is front and center of Everything I work on now. Whether I'm in Word or browsing the internet, that HP icon is right in my face. I can't click on it or, right-click on it, and I especially can't delete it. Any help getting this removed from my desktop would be Much Appreciated. Thank you.

Try rebooting the Mac.

If that does not work, post a screenshot so we can what it looks like.
