Apple Watch 3 blue back arrow isn’t responding

For the last couple of weeks my Apple Watch 3 blue back arrow hasn’t been responding. When I look at a message thread in my iMessage and I try to back out and look at another it wont respond. But that same area of the screen works with a different app. I tried force reset and unpairing and it still does the same thing.

It sounds like you are having issues with the touch screen in the Messages app on your Apple Watch Series 3, and we'd like to help.


It appears you reviewed the Restart your Apple Watch article before coming here, and you've also tried unpairing the Apple Watch.


Have you updated your iPhone and Apple Watch to the most recent version of iOS and watchOS?
