iPhone is stuck in restore mode, not recognized by Mac Big Sur...what now?

My iPhone is stuck in Restore mode. A black screen with the connector with arrow pointing to a computer with "support.apple.com/iphone/restore" on it. Plugged it into my Mac BookAir with Big Sur OS. The iPhone is not recognized by the Mac. I can't change screens on the iPhone. The Restore instructions provided by Apple reference "iTunes" which we all know is gone with Big Sur. Anyone have any idea what I can do to get my iPhone working again? I think its an iPhone 8 (Home button) but not sure because i can't get to that page because of the Restore screen...

Thank you!
