if i forward calls will my location stay with phone
If I go to a friend's house, and forward calls from a phone that I leave there (call it phone A) to phone B, will the location for phone A's number reflect phone A location or phone B location?

When you set up call forwarding, then that feature is activated at the carrier level. Your phone A will NOT receive the call because the call is forwarded to phone B by the carrier. At this point, phone A is out of the mix.
None of the above will change any device’s reported location. Location is reported by the device and not by the point of origin or destination of a phone call. In your example, phone A and phone B will report their respective locations from where they are physically located. Phone number has nothing to do with it.
