Problem with Maps Waze Google Maps it s not working

I am starting having issues with the gps. This weekend my gps was driving me crazy. I was heading home from San Diego to LA it took me almost 3 hrs without traffic to get home. It started to calculate the route very slow and when it starts arrow sees lost from the route and never calculate the route right. Also when the gps ask to enter to an exit after that… the gps does not calculate for the next route and gets lost and sometimes freezes. It s very annoying. I called AT&T during my trip I stopped my car to see if they could help me out they did everything checked all the data, the internet , put the location on and off ,uninstall and install the map and nothing worked it. And today I called the apple support and I did the same thing service on and off, I reset the data and nothing worked it. After that, I reset my iPhone to see if the gps gets back to normal after waiting for almost 2 hours to get my apps downloaded guess what!!! My gps maps waze google did not work.. I don’t know what should I do.

Maybe you have enabled Location Services for Waze and Google Maps.

How to turn Location Services on or off for specific apps

  1. Go to Settings > Privacy > Location Services.
  2. Make sure that Location Services is on.
  3. Scroll down to find the app.
  4. Tap the app and select an option:
    • Never: Prevents access to Location Services information.
    • Ask Next Time: This allows you to choose Always While Using App, Allow Once, or Don't Allow.
    • While Using the App: Allows access to Location Services only when the app or one of its features is visible on screen. If an app is set to While Using the App, you might see your status bar turn blue with a message that an app is actively using your location.
    • Always: Allows access to your location even when the app is in the background.

From here, apps should provide an explanation of how the app will use your location information. Some apps might offer only two options.

To navigate you need the internet through your Cellular Service provider no matter which Maps. iOS and iPadOS devices might use Wi-Fi and Bluetooth to determine your location. GPS and cellular location are available on iPhone and iPad (Wi-Fi + Cellular) models.

Location Services uses GPS and Bluetooth (where they're available), along with crowd-sourced Wi-Fi hotspots and cellular towers to determine the approximate location of your device.
