I can’t find the watch on my new phone, appears activation lock is active and I don’t have the phone to remove it because it was stolen

How do I unpair my watch? My phone it was paired to was stolen. I can’t find the watch in my iCloud under devices but my watch tells me it’s still paired

Or;

To unpair and erase watch and remove Activation Lock

From a web browser,sign in to iCloud.com with your Apple ID.

Go to Find iPhone.

Click All Devices at the top of the screen.

Click your Apple Watch.

Click Erase [device]. Select Next until the device is erased.

Click Remove from Account.
