Verifying information and ssd storage question

Hello,

I just received a macbook pro 14 with customized configurations. I just opened the box, turned it on and now trying to compare the device specs to what is listed on the invoice just to make sure this i received the machine that i ordered. So far i have matched a few things except these two :

  1. I ordered a 1TB SSD Storage but capacity in the disk utility says 994.66 GB. Why is that?
  2. Apple M1 Max with 10-core CPU, 32-core GPU, 16-core Neural Engine ( i was able to match the M1 Max 10 core cpu, 32-core GPU. I cannot find 16-core neural engine listed on the device. Where is this information listed? Or is it even possible to find this listed on the device?

That is all. Thanks in advance for any help that you can provide.

994.66 GB is your 1 TB drive a few measly GB used for formatting the drive...which is what you would expect to see in Disk Utility.

You can see all your tech specs:

https://www.apple.com/macbook-pro-14-and-16/specs/

It includes a 16‑core Neural Engine and a media engine with H. 264 and HEVC support and ProRes encode and decode.

even the base model has your 16-core Neural Engine
