I have tried resetting both devices. I can screen share the ipad to the macbook but not the other way around. I can also screen share from the mac to other devices

Thanks for the reply. If you haven't done so already, make sure your iPad is running the latest iPadOS version: Get the latest software updates from Apple. Also make sure Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Handoff are turned on: Use Handoff to continue tasks on your other devices. If the issue persists, create another user account on your Mac and test to see if the iPad shows up. This step will help with determining if the issue is specific to one user account: Set up users, guests, and groups on Mac.

Yes I am trying to use sidecar or screen mirroring. Ever since I updated my macbook to the latest version (Monterey 12.1) the ipad no longer shows up as a device.
I am no longer able to screen mirror my macbook pro to my ipad pro. I used to be able to but after the new update it stopped working. Any advice? I
