May I use the Apple Care I purchased through Amazon for my AirPods?

I purchased AppleCare through Amazon but ended up buying the AirPods at Target. Is there a way to get the AppleCare to coverage the AirPods? The first set of Airpods I purchased were through Amazon so that AppleCare was automatically set up.

No. Cancel that Apple Care and then buy a new plan for the new AirPods. See instructions in Cancel or change the payment method for your AppleCare plan - Apple Support

How to buy

  1. Purchase AppleCare+ with your new headphones.
  2. Or buy it within 60 days of your headphones purchase:
    • On your paired iPad or iPhone (go to Settings > Bluetooth > click on the ⓘ button for your headphones)
    • Online
    • At an Apple Store (inspection of headphones and proof of purchase are required)
    • By calling 800-275-2273 (requires you to provide proof of purchase)
