Enter data to Photo “ info” drop down menu

I have been entering data on each scanned photo successfully. But now the drop down will not accept anything! ( when I try, it goes to the Edit Photo drop down and asks if I want to delete the photo)

I must have changed some setting under Photos while casually looking for a way to eliminate incorrect Faces names. Can I go back to whatever the default settings are somehow?
