my iphone 13 isnt letting me open any of my apps or turn off my phone and i can see when i get a message just cant click into it

Try a forced restart.

• Press and quickly release the volume up button

• Press and quickly release the volume down button

• Press and hold the side button.

• When the Apple logo appears, release the button.
