So, I started wondering if the setting you spoke of, was something I could get to myself, from my Tmobile acct, and started looking through her setting and comparing then to the settings for the other lines we have on our acct. She did have somethings toggled on in there that weren't toggled on for our other lines for some reason, so I flipped them off, but they didn't work, so I dug around in more settings and also noticed that her line was also the only line that had her web guard settings set to "High". I read all of what the high web filter does, and did say that apps that have potential for showing inappropriate content is blocked (TikTok). I set it to medium, but that didn't work, so I tried the low setting (still blocks porn, drugs, etc but still allows for social media content) setting it to the low setting seems to have worked. She's been able to have full use of her phone again without relying on WiFi and hotspots! Here's exactly what I did!
>Logged in to our MyTmobile Acct.
>Went to "Profile" and selected her phone number from the drop down menu
>Scrolled down to "Family Controls"
>Clicked on "Web Guard"
>Selected "Low" and clicked the "Save changes" button
It worked!! I have no idea how thise settings were put so high though. My husband and I certainly didn't do it, so it's strange. But, whatever! It's fixed!!
