HDR

This clip looks normal until I drop it in the timeline. Then I get this message. Show HDR as tone map is checked. How do I convert?

If you want SDR output you add the HDR Tools effect to the clip in the timeline. Set it to HDR to Rec 709 or HLG to Rec 709 if it came from a phone.

final cut ignores audio plugin on export I am using a Waves plugin (Clarity vx) to remove unwanted background noise. It works great when I play it back on the timeline but when I export to file it appears to ignore the plugin and all the background noise it there. Anyone run into issues of final cut ignoring plugins on export?

Audio of clip changes pitch in timeline Hi guys! Any help greatly appreciated on this. I have a clip that keeps changing pitch to higher and making voices 20% squeakier when dragged into the timeline. I've tried changing the Audio Sample Rate, I've optimized the media, made it proxy, converted it from .mp4 to .mov. Tried nearly everything but it still seems to happen. I have a mixed media timeline with a number of different framerates etc among all the clips. Anything I can convert it to that might stop this?

It doesn’t impact any SDR clips that are put in the timeline. The effect gets applied to individual clips or with an adjustment layer or compound clip to groups of clips if that works for my project.

Thanks Tom! If I put it in the timeline will it mess up my other clips or do correct before putting in timeline?
