Totu hub not working after Monterey 12.2 upgrade

Upgraded to Monterey 12.2 on a MacBook Pro and now elements of the Totu hub it's connected to will not work. The MacBook will not recognize the external USB wireless mouse or the HDMI connection to an external monitor.

Mac mini (M1) - issues connecting to a hub I'm on my second Mac mini in a week, and both exhibit the same problem. The Mac mini is connected to an HP U28 4K via USB C, which includes a 3-port USB A hub. The Mac mini is unable to see the hub and, therefore, the devices connected to it (e.g. Logitech Brio 4k web cam) unless and until the power cable to the monitor is unplugged and power restored whilst the Mac mini is powered up. From cold, the Mac mini is unable to 'see' the device connected to the hub. It's all deeply frustrating, as waking from sleep is also somewhat unreliable. I was hoping macOS 11.4 would resolve this issue, but it persists. Any thoughts for this long-time Mac user ...?

usb c disconnects monitor Hello, I have a MacBook Pro (13-inch, M1, 2020), and several times a day by monitor loses connection to through the USB c hub. It is very annoying and happens every day. The USB connection just seems so flimsy and I've seen many many others complaining of this issue. Does apple have a more reliable way to connect devices to these computers with only USB c interfaces? I'm using an iKling USB C hub from amazon.

This is not an issue with the hub. It is an issue with MacOS and has been extensively discussed in this thread here:

I am also having issues with my Lenovo hub on 12.2.

Hello datman66,

We see that your external hub isn't working as expected.

For that you'll want to reach out to the hub manufacturer. They'll be able to tell you if there are any known issues and possible fixes.
