Is there a way to hide recently opened apps on other devices on another apple device?

For example, I use my MacBook and then the opened apps show in dock of my iPad. How can I eliminate that?

Perhaps you enabled Handoff:--> Use Handoff to continue tasks on your other devices - Apple Support
