I would like to purchase the iphone 13 pro max. But I would like to pay £500 in cash and the rest in monthly payments is this possible?

Used to be Barclay's here also. Unless the UK Apple Stores are different than most other places when buying the phone from Apple they should have the ability to take the 500 and then set up the loan for the remainder of the cost of the phone.

Cash & Card Payment:
Maybe at the local Apple Store you could pay upfront in cash, then pay the rest off with a card. Worked fine for me.
If you finance it through whatever company Apple uses in the UK you can if you qualify.
FWIW its Barclays finance and the options in UK are same as most countries, ie pay full price or monthly payments as in Apple.com in the final payment options. No deposit option available.

With 0% interest I would rather pay £140 for AppleCare+ instead.
