iPad cellular data

You may already have everything that you need…

If you have an iPhone, or other mobile phone, you’ll be able to use the mobile hotspot of the phone to share the Cellular data connection - without having to replace your iPad or purchase any additional hardware.

The alternatives are to consider:

a) replacing your WiFi Only iPad with a WiFi+Cellular model - or

b) as suggested by ProustGiulio, you might consider purchase of Cellular (a.k.a. MiFi) Router.

Obviously an iPhone (or other mobile phone) will require a Cellular contract with “tethering” enabled - as will purchase of a Cellular Router.

The process will be similar for other mobile phones.

I have been using one for many years and, for my needs, it is totally satisfying.

It would be an impossible hardware modification on an Wifi-only iPad.
