iMac stuck on loading screen. Help!


All extras are unplugged, just keyboard and mouse and Ethernet cable are plugged in. I have tried all (shift/command/alt) reboot codes Like hold Shift-R and boot to safe mode, etc… nothing it working.. Been trying to book a genius appointment nothing in my area. Please help!

Including everything in section #3 on that page, 

use Disk Utility to repair your startup disk

reinstall macOS

contact Apple Support

This indicative of a hardware problem. However please try shutting it back down and after about 1-2 minutes please hold down the power button for 15 seconds and see if it starts up. If it does not, the next step is to take it in for service at your local AASP. You can use AASP Locator if you do not know of any. If the computer is a 2013 or earlier I would not recommend attempting to fix it and consider replacing it with a newer Mac.
