How to convert physical SIM to eSIM on the same device

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. Thanks for reaching out to us for help with converting to an eSIM. If you go to Settings, starting from the top you should see you Apple ID info, Airplane Mode, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and then Cellular. Tap Cellular, and tap Convert to eSIM. You can use the guidance from the article you reached out to us from, Transfer or convert your current SIM to an eSIM on your new iPhone, to complete this process.
