I have a restore message and don’t know how to clear it

I hv the restore message on the screen of my iPad and don’t know what to do. I plugged it into a computer but don’t know what’s meant to happen

Follow the steps in the Related Article listed on your post. You need to plug the device into the computer in a specific way, and it is described in the support document. You need to have the latest version of iTunes on the computer if you use Windows or a Mac with before Catalina. After Catalina, you use Finder.
