Why when I connect my USB Super Drive to my MacBook Pro using Apple MJ1M2AM/A USB-C to USB Adapter the drive doesn’t show up in finder or desktop?
It will only show up there if there is a disc inside the Mac can read.
You can verify its been detected in Apple Menu->About This Mac->System Profiler->USB
It should appear as Optical or External in some cases there.
