Creating Email Stationery for Mac in macOS Monterey
I recently updated my old 24" Mac to a new one and was disappointed to discover that Email Stationery was no longer included in the current version of Mail. After searching the Community for confirmation and alternatives I created a workaround.
To Create a Stationery email:
- Create a New Folder in Mail (I call mine STATIONERY).
- Create a new draft email (without a recipient if preferred). You can copy the body of the Email from a previously sent email. Add a descriptive name to the Subject (for easy identification).
- Save the draft.
- Go to the Drafts folder. Option-click on the new draft and drag a copy into the STATIONERY folder.
- Delete the new draft email in Drafts if not currently required.
To Create a New Email from STATIONERY:
- Go to the STATIONERY folder.
- Option-click on the email you want to create and drag a copy into the Drafts folder.
- Open the new draft email in the Drafts folder and edit accordingly before sending.
If anyone has discovered a quicker or easier solution please let me know.
