Apple support states and illustrates how two nano SIM cards can be placed on the sim tray. Alas, my iPhone 12 Pro tray has no slot at the back to place a second nano SIM card. Has anyone else had this issue? How was it resolved? Thanks
The only model iPhone 12 Pro that can take 2 physical SIMs is sold only in China, Macau or Hong Kong. Is that where you purchased yours? If not, they you have ONE physical SIM and one internal eSIM.

Did you buy this iPhone in mainland China, Hong Kong or Macau? If nit, it does nit support dual physical SIM cards.
All other iPhones so,d around the globe support one, single physical SIM and have a programmable eSIM.

In China mainland, Hong Kong, and Macao, certain iPhone models feature Dual SIM with two nano-SIM cards.
