iOS 15.3 bug? Two gmail icons on my iPhone

i just noticed that there are two gmail app icons on my iPhone and both are working exactly same and as gmail normally works.

I have never noticed this earlier but as I understand one app can not have more than one instance running.

Anyone else ever faced this? Is it some ghost app intruding my iPhone?

or is it iOS 15.3 bug?

iPhone X, iOS 15

No, it is not a Bug in iOS 15. It is a feature. You can now have the same app icon in multiple locations/screens on your iPhone. You will notice that the App Library (The last Home Screen on your iPhone when you continue to SWIPE LEFT until you reach it) has all of your apps automatically categorized. You can then pull out the apps from the App Library and place the icon anywhere on your Home Screen. You may even have more than one instances of the Same app.

You may have even noticed that you can remove apps from the Home Screen without having those apps completely deleted from the iPhone.
