Can I use a passcode with out Face ID?

Can I use a different passcode to lock or unlock my iPhone 12 without using Face ID?

You can have only one passcode for one device. If you enable Face ID then the passcode may not be required many a time. But if you disable Face ID then the same Passcode can be used for all your work.
