Leave a FaceTime group call that I did not create

Hey Apple Support,

I got invited to a FaceTime group call with nearly 30 people. My phone started ringing nonstop with Facetime calls. I deleted a lot of the history, but one screenshot I have has 11 calls over 9 minutes and that was just what fits on the screen.

I searched around and found this question someone asked How to be removed from Group FaceTime. The solution was to have the creator of the group remove you.

In my case, I do not know the creator of the group. I have tried messaging everyone in the group and some did not respond whereas others shared my frustration of not being able to leave. I was never removed from the group and ended up manually blocking EVERYONE in the group manually so I would stop receiving calls.

If there is a way to leave a group Facetime call that I did not create, please tell me how to do it. If there is not yet, an option really has to be added as manually blocking everyone in a group call is not a solution. Im not usually one to fuss about these types of things, but it's really not acceptable to not be able to leave a group (likely spam) call which is almost harassing you with calls.

Image of call history:

(phone numbers blurred so the post doesn't get removed and because I think the alternating 2 phone numbers shown aren't the people that started the call)

Please help me resolve this,

Matthew
