Hey there, and welcome to Apple Support Communities oakleym82,

From our understanding, you are getting this message after you updated and will like to stop this from occurring. We can certainly understand your concern and are here to help as much as we can.

We would like to ask you a couple of questions in order to get a better understanding. First, what exact version of iOS are you currently using? We ask as the menus and options can change slightly between versions of iOS, and we want to make sure we provide the most accurate steps. You can locate this by going to Settings > General > About. Second, it shows you have VPN enabled. Does this issue happen when VPN is disabled? Also, have you enabled any network privacy settings with the router itself? Finally, are you using a private Wi-Fi address? If so, check out this link for more details on using private Wi-Fi addresses: Use private Wi-Fi addresses on iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and Apple Watch - Apple Support

We thank you for your answers, they will help guide us to the next troubleshooting step.

Kindest regards!
